A Midsummer Night’s Drewm

by William Shakespeare

Adapted by Arron Evans

Directed by Arron Evans

Join us once more as Vision Arts takes on another fantastic Shakespeare play - ‘A Midsummer Night's Dream’.

As the tyrannical nation of Athens prepares for the wedding of their dictator, four young Athenians get lost in the woods as they search for love but soon find themselves entangled in a mischievous web of fairy magic where mistaken identity leads to a whole heap of hilarious trouble.  Throw in a couple of bumbling artisans from an amateur dramatics group trying to rehearse a play and you have a recipe for comic disaster.

Vision Arts’ latest endeavour into the world of William Shakespeare is set to bring the magic of the realm of fairies into the Boulevard Theatre like never before utilising our versatile theatre in ways never seen before as we immerse the audience into the magical forest where the magic of theatre can be found all around, behind and above you.
